Regardless of the time of year, the city of Plantation is playing host to several festivals and celebrations in order to bring its community together through the fun festivities. An event of specific note is to the annual Art in the Park, an event featuring an impressive art show featuring approximately 150 artists, live musical entertainment and scores of art to be admired and sure to inspire. Featuring a carnival and haunted house, the Halloween & Safety Festival, as well as Plantation’s Holiday Parade and Tinsel Town Talent Showcase are just a few of the many special events that delight and involve Plantation residents of all ages. Another not-to-be-missed event, the Plantation Historical Society turns its mild South Florida landscape into a blistery Winter Wonderland by showcasing lavishly decorated trees representing different cultures and ethnicities.
