While Pembroke Pines features a plethora of parks, recreational facilities and golf courses to accommodate its robust city, it is also the home to one of Broward County’s most exceptional parks, C.B. Smith Park. The park certainly proves that there is something for everyone to enjoy among its 320-acres and variety of facilities. The park’s newest feature, its Paradise Cove Water Park, is equipped with multiple water playgrounds, tremendous waterslides and a lazy river that is sure to not only delight visitors of all ages, but also provide a refreshing escape from the hot Florida sun. For the sports enthusiast, the park features a batting cage, driving range, basketball and volleyball courts, jogging trails and multiple locations to try your luck at fishing on its 80-acres of lakes. The park’s campgrounds and vast amount of picnicking areas and shelters are another fan-favorite for group gatherings. C.B. Smith Park also features a popular concert venue. The park’s Concert Green is the annual host to such local favorites as the Chili Cook-Off and Love & Jazz evening concert.
