This past weekend I have been at a seminar put on by Luxury Portfolio, one of EWM’s real estate affiliates that brings international companies together. It has been such a great experience interacting with brokers from all over the world including Switzerland, St. Bart’s, France, England, and South Africa just to mention a few countries, and realtors from all over the United States.
During the weekend’s sessions I learned and shared unique marketing ideas and heard of the interesting successes that people have enjoyed. Working with people from across the world to better understand their different cultures, negotiating tactics, and ways of transacting has been fascinating and important. We work with so many South Americans in Miami, but it has been fun to learn more about our European affiliates and to hear their perspective on our elections this year.
We live and work in an interconnected world where every country and every real estate market can have an impact on each other, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to learn more from the international movers and shakers in my field.
