My partners Cyndi , Andy and myself were fortunate enough to be at the grand reopening of the legendary Fontainebleau Hotel. What a fabulous weekend.! It is one thing to read about it in the papers and watch it on TV, but it was a totally different to experience it first hand.
There were stars everywhere you turned , both legendary and upcoming from Robert Duval, James Caan, to Kate Hudson and Paris Hilton, Mario Lopez and Brody Jenner. While riding the elevator with Kate Hudson she was so enthused I was really proud of our city.
Friday night Mariah Carey gave a surprise performance. Saturday night at the Victoria Secret show Usher performed. It was a magical night. Although I am convinced the models are genetic mutants. As my sister said to her husband as we were leaving the show, “I feel sorry for you that you have to go home with me”
What was incredible to see and feel was the enthusiasm and excitement everyone was feeling for Miami Beach. It was hard to imagine that there is a recession and the economy is in such dire straits.
We are very optimistic that the excitement will continue for Miami Beach and Miami Beach Real Estate.
The glamour is truly back.
