South Florida’s Deep Water Secret “Golden Isles”

Golden Isles is a gated deep waterfront single-family home community with ocean access and no fixed bridges. There are approximately 304 properties within the gates of this Broward County community with 99% of the properties on the water and only 5 dry lots. A few of the great features of Golden Isles is that it’s a protected waterfront community (protection for your vessel from high winds), all the canals are wide and deep enough for about any boat that can travel the Intracoastal Waterway. Ocean access is just 15 minutes away to the south at The Haulover Inlet and just 45 minutes to The Port Everglades Inlet to the north.

Golden Isles is right on the Broward/Miami-Dade County line and right across from Golden Beach. As Golden Beach Florida has become very pricey, Golden Isles has benefited from the high property values of Golden Beach. I will admit however that Golden Isles is not as exclusive and does not have the name recognition of Golden Beach.

As a boat owner, one of the advantages of Golden Isles over Golden Beach that most do not know is that Golden Beach has numerous of its waterfront properties sitting on very shallow water which does not allow for many boats that draw as little as 4 feet. Golden Isles is not nearly as private as Golden Beach and has not had the exposure that has benefited Golden Beach but there is much value, especially for boat owners and their Yachts.

In my opinion, there is going to be much more appreciation in property values in Golden Isles over the years and is one of the top waterfront communities in South Florida, minutes from Aventura, Bal Harbour and the Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport (The Center of both Market’s of Miami-Dade and Fort Lauderdale)
