MIAMI BEACH, FL (October 2, 2007) – Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell (EWM) Realtors, one of the largest residential real estate firms in the U.S., announced today that six new sales associates have joined its Miami Beach branch office; Daniel Bermudez, Maritza Capiro, Itziar Diez, Aldara Ortega, George Teichholz and Massimiciano Mlekus.
Bermudez, originally from Lima, Peru, has recently relocated to South Florida. He graduated from Florida International University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management with a Master of Science in hospitality management. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management from Universidad Central in Puerto Rico. He is fluent in Spanish and German. During his free time he enjoys kite surfing in Key Biscayne. He is a member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Capiro hails from Cuba and has lived in the South Florida area for the last 27 years. She attended Florida International University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business and is currently pursuing a degree in interior design. She is a member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Diez was born in Biblao, Spain and has lived in South Florida for 15 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is affiliated with the Miami Design Preservation League and the Miami Beach Neighborhood Leadership Academy. She is a current member of the Transnational Referral Certified Realtor, Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and the Beaches, Licensed Community Association and Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Ortega, born and raised in Madrid, Spain, has lived in South Florida for three years. She obtained a degree in fashion design from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and worked as a freelancer. After graduating from college, she started modeling and has traveled the world making commercials, editorials, ads and catalogs. She speaks English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and a little German. She is a member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Teichholz was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has lived in the South Florida area for the last eight years. He graduated from the University of Rio de Janeiro and also from Harvard. Being a dynamic person with a creative streak, he went to work for McCann Erickson as an Account Supervisor working his way to the top managing many large accounts such as Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Nestlé, L’Oréal, Chevrolet and Mastercard, as well as many others. He now brings his enthusiasm and creative nature to the real estate industry. He holds the designation of Transnational Referral Certified Specialist and is a member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.
Mlekus is a native of Rome, Italy and has lived in the South Florida area for nine years. He worked in the real estate industry in Rome where he was in charge of exclusive luxury home sales. He is a member of the Realtor® Association of Greater Miami and the beaches.
