One Turnberry Place Gets Financing

Our Class A office building One Turnbery Place has secured $35 million in acquisition financing, according to Globe St. com.  The 136,400 square foot building at 19501 Biscayne Blvd. is located at the entrance to Aventura Mall.

The buyer, OTP Capital is an affiliate of the Aventura based Triarch Investment Group.

This is an important step in keeping Aventura at the cutting edge of investment and providing businesses with a first class destination for their offices. Aventura is looking better, every day.  Country Club Drive is manicured to perfection and many of the buildings have been renovated beautifully, like BONAVISTA CONDO, with its new landscaping, new entrance and exquisite interiors.

Sales of condos improving in Aventura….I have noticed that when I show apartements, many have been sold and the inventories are shrinking.  This means that slowly but surely prices will start rising.  Supply and demand will enter the market place once again.

Americans still value homeownership. The New York Times today had a great article titled “Despite Fears, Owning Home Retains Allure”.  Polls showed that nearly nine in 10 Americans say homeownership is an important part of the American dream.  This was a New York Times/CBS poll.

This is in spite of falling values, mortgage difficulties and disappointment in the banking industry and the federal government.

Quite a statement of the emotional pull of owning a home.
