My Japanese Chin ChaCha

Born in Missouri but Transplanted to Wilton Manors.

When visiting Wilton Manors Drive, I would always make it a point to visit Tiny Treasures. It the cutest pet shop I have even known.  By cutest, I mean the darling array of pure-breed pups and noveau-breed pups, all displayed in pink baby cribs.  These pups are so precious that you are required to sanitize your hands before attempting to handle them.

This is where a new chapter in my life began.  In the first crib was the cutest puppy I had ever seen; it was a Japanese Chin.  A breed I had never heard of.  Shameful to a son of a veterinarian.  He was adorable with his big round dark puppy eyes ( I know some of you can relate ).  After several visits, this doggie soon became my pseudo “best-friend” or should I say vicarious pet. T

hen, one day, he was gone.  I strolled into the shop as I has always done and realized the Jap-Chin was gone.  Initially, I thought they had moved him to another crib in the shop, but I soon discovered he had been sold the day before.  It was at that point I decided I wanted a dog.  Specifically, a Japanese Chin.

The very next day I received a call from Tiny Treasures.  They had found a female pup just a month old.  I asked for pictures and a couple weeks later Chacha was my non-vicarious pet.  She is the sweetest, cutest, prettiest and smartest dog in the whole wide world.  I spoil her like any parent would spoil their child,(by the way “Chin” means royalty) and can’t wait to see her when I get home. So next time you’re in the area, be sure to visit this pet shop; it will definetely put a smile on your face!  On how did I get the name, you might ask, well just look at her.
