Looking for a Real Estate Agent Assistant

Position Title: Real Estate Agent Assistant
Reports to: Real Estate Agent

The Real Estate Agent Assistant will play a supporting role to the Real Estate Agent. This is a part-time opportunity (20-25 hours per week).

Requirements
• Familiar with the Multiple Listing System (MLS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in organizing, planning, and prioritizing work with the ability to handle multiple, changing tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and designing forms and contracts.
• Detail orientation
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Minimum requirement is high school diploma. Prefer to have some college experience.

Job Duties:
• Utilize Internet listing search programs (e.g., MLS) to identify potential properties within client stated specifications.
• Utilize Internet listing search programs (e.g., MLS) to schedule appointments.
• Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages. Provide callers with information on current listings.
• Maintain client contacts, manage Real Estate Agent calendar and to do tasks and arrange appointments/showings through an Internet-based project management program (e.g., Highrise).
• Communicate with clients and agents to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address complaints.
• Prepare documents such as contracts, listing agreements, and leases.
• Assist in the sale/rental of properties through creating advertisements, holding open houses, and posting information in multiple listing services and social media sites.
• Confer with title companies, lenders, home inspectors to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements are met before closing dates.
