Pianist Anton Kuerti performed on December 5th at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center at Florida International University. The all Beethoven program was superb. Anton Kuerti is a master, one of the truly great pianists. The program consisted of the Phantasie in g minor, Op. 77, followed by Sonata No. 4 in E flat Major, Op.7, Sonata No. 31 in A flat Major, Op.110, and Sonata No. 21 in C Major, Op. 53 (“Waldstein” ). It was memorable. Friends of Chamber Music is the best ticket in town.
