Forest Ridge – What a Wonderful World

When Louis Armstrong sang “What a Wonderful World” he must have been thinking about a place like Forest Ridge in Davie, Florida.

Living in Forest Ridge in Davie, Florida is like living in a small town. Surrounded by 200 year old oak trees, nature trails, and a historic preserve, Forest Ridge offers residents a lifestyle rarely found in a metropolitan community. A lot of credit has to go to the developers of Forest Ridge (Sea Ranch Properties) for their foresight in building the neighborhood around the preserve.

The entrance to Forest Ridge is breathtaking, where the American Flag flies proudly every day. The ride on the winding brick road into Forest Ridge is a sure stress reliever, boarded on both side by stately oaks, lush green ferns and colorful ground cover. It’s not uncommon to see brides and grooms having their photos taken on the property, as it creates such a beautiful backdrop. Home styles vary from cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath homes with 2 car garages to majestic estates on 1/2 acre, and everything in between. There are 9 distinct neighborhoods within Forest Ridge, Old Orchard, Southern Orchard, North Orchard, Arborwood, Lake Park, Oak Park, Oak Grove, and Chapel Hill. Our sister community called The Ridge on Nob Hill is located west of Pine Island Ridge . In order to preserve Pine Island Ridge, The Ridge on Nob Hill has it’s own entrance on Nob Hill Road. There are approximately 1600 homes within these neighborhoods. Each community within Forest Ridge offers a community swimming pool and there are 8 tennis courts, 6 of which are lit for night time playing. I’ll be blogging about Forest Ridge on a regular basis and I welcome your questions or comments . Patti Reid, P.A.[email protected]954-854-6310 (Cell)
