Go to www.energystar.gov for a complete list of items purchased for your home that are eligible for up to a $500. tax credit because of their energy saving capabilities. These include everything from hot water heaters to windows. Solar, fuel cell and hybrid autos are also on the list, but all are being phased out, including 2008 for home improvement.
