After receiving 2 proposed property tax assessments this week, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that our market is getting better!! Great news!! Alas, that is not what the media is telling us and that is certainly not what our buyers are telling us! I am quite confused!!
How is it that the market value on both my home and a condo I own have increased in this market of decreasing values?! I have looked at 5 different people’s proposed property taxes in the past week, all in the Miami area, and they all went up! One of mine over $100,000! Are we not in what is considered our worst market in 20 years or so? At least someone still has confidence in our market, even if it is the tax assessor!!
