Last week, the city of Miami Beach approved the final plans for the beachwalk in North Beach. Construction is to start in the next 3-6 months and be completed within 2 years. This will be a wonderful amenity for residents & visitors alike! The Beachwalk will extend from 64th St at Allison Park between the sand dunes & the oceanfront properties,, connect to Ocean Terrace on 73rd St near the North Beach 
Bandshell, then jet back out behind the Altos Del Mar single family Homes and connect to the pathway found in North Shore Open Space park on 79th Street. Once completed, there will be a path from 64th to 87th Terr and will connect 4 beachfront parks found in North Beach: Allison, North Beach Bandshell, Altos Del Mar, & North Shore Open Space.
The city’s plan is to ultimately have a beach walk for residents to utilize from 87th Terr to the city’s southern tip at South Pointe Park, replacing the boardwalk found along 21st St to 47th St as well, that welcomes all skaters, bikers, walkers & runners to use a safe motor free pathway along its most treasured asset, la playa! Just one more reason why Miami Beach is where to live, and with all the value offered, North Beach is where to look for your next home.
