An Affair to Remember….

This is one Birthday Bash you do not want to miss! George Washington is the young age of 278 this year and the Freedoms Foundation Broward Chapter invite you join in the Celebrations in Patriotic Style!

The George Washington Birthday Ball will be held at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club, 2800 Yacht Club Boulevard on Friday February 19th. Festivitieswill start at 6.30pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, mingling and silent auction. Dinning and Dancing will commence at 7.30pm with a Grand March led by the Color Guard-Spruance Division U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps followed by live entertainment with the “Joe Kules Band” and “The Mummers String Band”.

This fabulous event is being hosted by a dear friend and colleague of mine at EWM Ms. Boyce Ann Bryant with her Co-Chair Mr. Larry Rowe. Christine Matotek (a Realtor with EWM) and her partner William Slavin will be in full charachter holding court as George and Martha in full vintage attire. The attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue…

This will be definitely be an Affair to Remember and all for a good cause of providing Scholarships for Broward high school juniors to visit  Historic Valley Forge in Pennsylvania. The purpose of this all expenses paid four day retreat is so that the youth may obtain a better understanding and commitment to the American Heritage, values, private enterprise and how to be a responsible citizen. This year the Broward County Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge has the privelleg of sponsering 18 students.
