Years ago when my children attended Pinecrest Elementary School there was no safe way to ride a bicycle from our house on the west side of Ludlam Road to the school. Many people, including my husband, worked hard to get awareness and funding for a Bicycle Path to accomplish that goal, which was eventually done very successfully. We were thrilled when it was directly in front of our house. Much more recently I have heard a bit of grumbling in Pinecrest about the sidewalks and how they aren’t straight, go around some trees etc. Frankly, I always loved that about the Bicycle Paths. When did they become sidewalks instead?
