The recent article in the Miami Herald about 1977 THEN & NOW 2007 was very interesting to someone like myself who grew up in Miami.
My first vist to the Parrot Jungle in the 1950’s was with my grandparents who were visting from New Jersey. I was very fortunate to take my grandchildren to the Parrot Jungle in Pinecrest and share my memories prior to the change from the Parrot Jungle to Pinecrest Gardens.
I have also been fortunate to sell real estate in Miami for the last 27 plus years and read that the average home values/cost went from $30,638 to $286,850. Over the years I have always been asked, “will the price go up?”
