\"Kino<\/a>\"Kino\"Penny<\/a>\"Penny\"Penny<\/a>\"PennyYoga is gaining popularity and converts all across the globe, and we are fortunate to have\u00a0so many well-staffed and accessible studios in Miami and Miami Beach. Many of us are introduced to it at our \"Kapotasana<\/a>\"Kapotasanalocal gyms, most of which now offer decent generic classes, but for those who wish to delve deeper into the practice, let me introduce you to some of the studios I visit and recommend to you<\/p>\n

First,\u00a0let me tell you that a single class will cost anywhere from $15 to $20.\u00a0A better option is to buy a multiple class card that reduces the price of each class, but you might want to try different styles of yoga and places to practice before you shell out the bigger bucks. There are several different styles of yoga, as I mentioned, which will be the subject of my next blog.\u00a0 You might find one kind just your <\/a>cup of tea, while another doesn’t do it for you; so do try more than one style.\u00a0 Also, other than classes designated advanced, pretty much every level of student can do any class.<\/p>\n

\"Kapotasana\u00a0YogaGrove, located behind Milam’s at 3100 Bridgeport Avenue, is my home away from home. It offers morning and \"Penny\"Penny<\/a>evening classes with with super-friendly, helpful and dedicated teachers. RinaYoga is on Coral Way next to the Office Depot at 27th Avenue. As well as classes with Rina Jakubowicz, you can experience the unique and powerfully playful style created by Natalie Morales, called Funyasa. The largest yoga studio in Coral Gables is PranaYoga on Malaga Avenue near \"Penny<\/a>\"PennyPonce de Leon. Prana has full schedule of classes each day and a large staff. The newest place in the Gables is Ontologik at Aragon Avenue and LeJeune Road, occupying the former Prana Yoga space. Visit this site at www.ontologik.com<\/a>, and be prepared to register to get to the really helpful information.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"KinoThe newest\u00a0studio in town, and voted Best Yoga Studio in 2008 by the New Times, is the Miami Life Center on Miami Beach. On 6th Street and Meridian, it is easily accessible to those of us coming from Coconut Grove andCoral Gables. This location has superbly trained teachers, and 2 beautiful rooms in which to practice. Synergy Yoga has two locations, one on Espanola Way and the other on 87th and Collins. They also offer yoga on the beach, and can be found at www.synergyyoga.org<\/a>. Another place is The Yoga Room at Brown and Company on Lincoln Road.<\/p>\n

Many of Miami’s yoga teachers can be found at more than one location; so following a particular teacher doesn’t mean you have to stay in only one place.<\/p>\n
