Are they Buying?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/230\/files\/www.ewm.com\/blog\/\/wp-admin\" border=\"0\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>Since the Euro has elevated in status against the American Dollar recently, the Europeans are coming to Miami in droves and buying everything, right?\u00a0 Not exactly!\u00a0 There are indeed many Europeans coming to Miami Beach and South Florida but, they are not all buying.\u00a0 They are looking and making offers but, they are making very low offers and in turn, not making deals.\u00a0 After speaking to\u00a0the European buyers\u00a0I have come across looking to buy in Miami Beach, I have asked them why\u00a0 this is happening.\u00a0 Most of them tell me that the media in Europe describes Miami as a real estate market that is very opportunistic and that there are many properties in foreclosure.<\/p>\n<p>I have expressed to them that Miami Beach is a bit different and that the waterfront homes in Miami Beach do not necessarily have that problem and in some areas of Miami Beach waterfront, we are on pace to break records on the number of transactions in a year.\u00a0 Some understand, some don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>On the Venetian Islands, for example, 2006 was the record year in the number of waterfront transactions.\u00a0 In 2008, we are on pace to break that 2006 record with 14 waterfront transactions so far this year and more to come.<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/230\/files\/www.ewm.com\/blog\/images\/2008\/03\/20\/travel\/escapes\/21vene600.1.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the Euro has elevated in status against the American Dollar recently, the Europeans are coming to Miami in droves and buying everything, right?\u00a0 Not exactly!\u00a0 There are indeed many Europeans coming to Miami Beach and South Florida but, they are not all buying.\u00a0 They are looking and making offers but, they are making very<\/p>\n<p class=\"more-link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/european-buyers-are-they-buying\/\" class=\"themebutton2\">Read More<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5405,"featured_media":130092,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_expiration-date-status":"","_expiration-date":0,"_expiration-date-type":"","_expiration-date-categories":[],"_expiration-date-options":[]},"categories":[11767],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.0 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>European Buyers!!
