Flamingos or Cranes?<\/p><\/div>\n

Port Miami<\/a> is the world’s busiest cruise port, surpassing 5.3 million passengers in fiscal year 2016-2017, and a major cargo port.\u00a0 As such, the port has 260 foot gantry cranes to load and unload ships.\u00a0 I see the\u00a0cranes\u00a0towering over Government Cut\u00a0every time I\u00a0drive to and from Miami Beach.\u00a0 In his book All About Them<\/a>, branding expert Bruce Turkel<\/a>\u00a0states that he made a recommendation to the mayor and County Commission to paint all of the cranes pink and black, thereby creating a flock of 260 foot flamingos.\u00a0 I love the idea.\u00a0 I think it would make for yet more photo ops of Miami.\u00a0 What do you think, cranes or flamingos?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
