Whether it\u2019s an apartment in Downtown Miami or a single family home in Miami Beach, the objective of providing the best possible service remains the same with each and every client. This weekend, however, was different, as very rarely do I get the opportunity to help build the real estate itself. Last Friday I had the enormous pleasure of giving a helping hand to Habitat For Humanity of Greater Miami in their 2016 Blitz Build. With the help of a few colleagues from other offices, as well as dozens of other sponsors, we worked tirelessly to help in this year\u2019s objective to build an astounding 10 homes in just 12 days!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We were assigned to the Kinsey Family Home, which also happens to be sponsored by our firm. Most of the day\u2019s work involved assisting the builders with the construction and placement of the interior framing that lays within the walls of the home. That morning, instead of picking up a pen I picked up a hammer and not only did I happen to get the work done but also am pleased to report that this posting is being typed with no broken fingers \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_84929\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/\/www.ewm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/habitat.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-84929\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-84929\" src=\"\/\/www.ewm.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/habitat-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"habitat\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-84929\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Kinsey Family Home, sponsored by EWM Realty International in this year\u2019s Habitat For Humanity\u2019s Blitz Build<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On a personal note, the experience of helping a family achieve their dream of owning a home, although in a much different role this time, showed me a renewed sense of how much of an impact a person a person can have in the lives of others and how a small act of kindness and the collaboration of many can lead to big strides towards making our community even stronger. I look forward to continuing to assist in the progress of the house as we continue to finish it and look forward to helping in building more for others in the future.<\/p>\n<p>One unmistakable fact about being a real estate professional, no matter where they are from, is that as agents, we are only as strong as the communities we strive to represent.
