Karol\u2019s background was as an owner of a successful marketing\/advertising agency will high profile clients, and previously on Madison Avenue in NYC.   Dominic was a well known photographer, having a successful career in London, Los Angeles and Miami.<\/p>\n<p>They are accomplished sailors and received many trophies sailing their boat \u201cLife on Mars\u201d.  For the past five years they have been creating this Boutique Hotel just an hour away from Miami.  They have done such a great job that Azul del Mar was the 2006 Traveler\u2019s Choice \u201cBest Hidden Gem\u201d, United States, by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/\">www.tripadvisor.com<\/a> .In the 2008 March issue of American Express\u2019s Travel + Leisure magazine they were featured as one of the 27 Affordable Beach Resorts around the world.  This morning on the Today Show they were again featured and now ranked as one of the top 15 luxury, affordable, beachfront lodgings in the world.  Five palm trees to Karol and Dom.
