You probably saw Monday’s JAB post about my new historic listing in Schenley Park<\/a>.\u00a0 I’ve gotten such good feedback about it which makes me happy, reminding me there are still people who appreciate the uniqueness and charm of these “old” homes. You feel the history surrounding you at this home which is so special to me. It got me thinking about other unique properties throughout Miami. Did you know there’s currently a home on the market built in 1899 – the oldest home in all of Coral Gables<\/a>? Listed with Houston Haynie at EWM, the property is located on Maynada and has 2 bedrooms\/1.5 bathrooms and even an original tin ceiling! At a time when so many are looking for new construction homes, I still love finding these gems that tell such rich stories of our own Miami history, and I love organizations like The Villagers<\/a> who help keep these bits of our rich history around!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
