Porsche Design Tower is the world\u2019s first condominium\u00a0complex with elevators that will take residents directly to their private residences while they are sitting in their cars. ‘You don\u2019t have to leave your car until you are in front of your apartment,’ Juergen Gessler, CEO of Porsche Design Group, told the Miami Herald.\u00a0 After the resident pulls over and switches off the engine, a robotic arm that works like an automatic plank will scoop up the car and put it into the elevator.\u00a0 Once you reach your desired floor, the same robotic arm will park the car, leaving the resident in front of their front door.\u00a0 The glass elevators will give these lucky residents unparalleled views of the city or of the ocean during their high-speed ride, expected to last 45 to 90 seconds, reports the Miami Herald.<\/p>\n

\"elevator“What this is really doing is taking two technologies that have existed for centuries and putting them together,” said Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Properties. “It\u2019s taking the robotic arm and it\u2019s putting it in an elevator.”<\/p>\n

Porsche Design Tower will rise in Sunny Isles Beach as part of a $560million project between Germany’s Porsche Design Group and\u00a0 local developer, Gil Dezer. They have combined their expertise and efforts to create this 57-story luxurious tower in 18555 Collins Avenue at Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.\u00a0 The building stands over a space of 2.2 acres with miles of open ocean-front view.\u00a0 The residences vary in sizes as they range from 3,800-9,500 sq ft. More than one-half of the units feature a duplex layout, with the ocean-facing units including a private pool.\u00a0 Each of the 132 residences have ultra-luxury modern set ups and will be tailored to owners criteria and specifications.\u00a0 They range from $2.9 million to $9 million each, depending on size, view and customization.\u00a0 There is no condominium complex in Florida that compares to it!\u00a0\u00a0 Plans for the Tower have already been approved by the City of Sunny Isles Beach.<\/p>\n
