That will result in a <strong>$1.5 million dollar reduction<\/strong> in revenue collected by the city for the next fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-63232\" width=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/files\/2012\/07\/250px-Coral_Gables_City_Hall_at_night-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"250px-Coral_Gables_City_Hall_at_night\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-63234 alignright\" width=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/files\/2012\/07\/miracle-mile.jpg\" alt=\"miracle mile\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the<strong> budget is passed<\/strong> by the full city <strong>commission<\/strong> later this Summer, it will represent the 3rd year in a row that the <strong>city has reduced property tax revenue<\/strong>.  According to <strong>Mayor Jim Cason<\/strong>, &#8220;Even during these challenging economic times, the proposed budget keeps us on the <strong>right path<\/strong> towards <strong>continuing to reduce taxes<\/strong> while <strong>providing quality services<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-63230 alignright\" width=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/files\/2012\/07\/biltmore-hotel1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"biltmore hotel\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Under the<strong> previous administration<\/strong>, the city&#8217;s workforce had become<strong> bloated<\/strong> with<strong> dozens of employees<\/strong> raking in well <strong>over $100,000 each annually<\/strong>.
