Single-family permits were up 51 percent in Miami-Dade in February, the most recent month with local data. That amounted to an average of 107 permits filed per month. In February 2005, the average monthly permit count was 747, so the latest numbers mark a decline of 86 percent.
\nBoth counties are showing permit activity that\u2019s fairly close to levels seen in 2010, a time when tax-credits helped spur a brief recovery in construction.”<\/p>\n
