AYSO Region 644 Registration (WESTON)<\/strong> has been opened now and has to be done online for the spring 2008<\/strong> soccer season (early February through mid May).<\/strong> Register as soon as possible, to assure a spot for your children since the field space is reduced for the spring league.<\/p>\n

AYSO Regional 644<\/strong> program started 19 years ago with 300 youth players and the program has grown to 3750 players in fall and spring leagues. AYSO Region 644 is serving the communities of Weston, Pembroke Pines, Sunrise, and neighboring cities.
\nAYSO Region 644<\/strong> has two distinct soccer seasons,
\n1) Fall–><\/strong> starts in early September through early December
\n2) Spring–><\/strong> starts in early February though mid May.<\/p>\n

On 2006 they developed a program as an enhancement to their regular core program named AYSO Select or Select Team. They are selected by age groups ( under 10 and up) to train, develop and participate in AYSO inter-regional play, AYSO State Games, AYSO National Games and select soccer tournaments throughout Florida.
\nThe accomplishments of the Select Teams for the past year and the developments of the players have been great and has been the talk of the South Florida Soccer scene.
\nThey also offer programs for emotionally and physically challenged individuals, men and ladies soccer leagues which begin in September through May.<\/p>\n

Benefits of the program:
\n<\/strong>Cost: $135.00 for the season<\/strong>. Compared to other competitive programs, AYSO is very affordable.
\nUnder 7 and up groups practice twice a week and 10 games for each season.
\nTwo seasons fall and spring.
\nParents are welcome<\/strong>to involve in the practices as volunteer coaches or assitance coaches.
\nSelect Player Program is for those children who wish to participate in soccer tournaments as participants in competitive soccer programs do. And they keep practicing all year round for no extra money. The requirement is to be registered for the seasons.
