What is up with all the jewels? As a resident that has lived in this community for over 6 years and a Realtor that ha<\/a>s sold properties in this <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>community I\u2019ve seen Emerald Estates shine and grow as it matures. <\/p>\n

Most places lose their luster as they get older this one seems to improve every year. Emerald Estates is a 24 hour staffed gated community tucked between Weston Rd. and South Post Rd, but can only be seen from South Post Rd. side. Many people are not aware that there is a community in there until they enter and comment on all the glistening wide lakes, wide open roads and spaces. Location, location, location. Close to I-75 and equally accessible from Griffin Rd. or Royal Palm Blvd. 3 minutes to Sawgrass Expressway and 7 minutes to Sawgrass Mall. There are two entrances and exits in Emerald Estates, one from South Post Rd. for residents only and the other from Weston Rd. which make it supper convenient especially during rush hour.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve all heard that the grass is always greener on the other side\u2026well, we are the other side. Emerald Estates is a full service community. That means lawns, front and back get cut, trees and shrubs get trimmed and fertilized even the weeds get zapped. If you travel a lot\u2026no worries. As a family community it cannot be beat. A huge community pool with covered areas and a tot lot are great for after school activities, the gym is great for a workout. The Emerald Estates park (operated by Weston parks) just outside the community has tennis courts, basket ball courts and a fantastic playground that can be reserved for large playgroup gatherings. Emerald Estates is located 5 minutes from the new Weston Library across the street from Cypress Bay high school. Falcon Cove Middle and Everglades Elementary are less than 10 minutes away. Let us not forget the convenient shopping at Weston Commons just out side Emerald Estates. In the cooler evenings a 15 minute walk will get you to Starbucks for a cup of coffee or Cold Stone for some ice cream. <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/p>\n
