\"MiamiForecasts from the National Hurricane Center based in Miami were right on target this year.\u00a0 The hurricane season began in June, it ended November 30th <\/sup>\u00a0and it was a very mild season indeed!\u00a0 Of the nine named storms that developed only three actually gained enough strength to be categorized as hurricanes.\u00a0 Even then, by the time these three hurricanes touched US land they were weakened causing little more than strong rains and some beach erosion.\u00a0 All in all we have been very lucky and have enjoyed some gorgeous weather. It is the first week of December and the high temperature average is in the low 80\u2019s. \u00a0\u00a0As we approach the winter season we know we have sunshine and mild temperature to look forward to for months to come.\u00a0 It is great to live in Florida!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
