Growing up in South Florida has the sweetest memories for me.\u00a0 I grew up behind Flamingo Gardens on a track of \u00a0land\u00a0 once owned by the Wray Family,\u00a0 the Wray Family were the original owners of Flamingo Gardens,\u00a0 Mr. Wray experimented\u00a0and \u00a0cross bred all types of citrus fruits that never became grocery fruits,\u00a0 some were ridiculously\u00a0 sweet to the most sour orange you could ever imagine.\u00a0 It was so beautiful and a magical memory\u00a0 of South Florida.\u00a0 We were on the highest point of what is known as the “Ridge”\u00a0 grand oak trees were everywhere with Spanish Moss and Air Plants abound,\u00a0 it was paradise.<\/p>\n
Our neighbors were cows!\u00a0 As a child I learned how to ride bareback,\u00a0 taking our horses into the many rock pit’s that were mini lakes and avoiding rattlesnakes and water moccasins along the way,\u00a0 we thought nothing of this!\u00a0 The wildlife was incredible we had acres to roam and explore.<\/p>\n
My family loved the area,\u00a0 my Dad developed homes and we really set in roots.\u00a0 That was the mid 1970’s.\u00a0 Back then Dad bought as much land as he could.\u00a0 We still have 40 acres\u00a0that was not developed.\u00a0 \u00a0 It is now for sale.\u00a0 My fondest wish is that whoever buys the property has similar experiences that I have shared,\u00a0 a love of nature and the appreciation of the beauty of this bit of paradise.<\/p>\n
At less than 100,000 an acre and with owner financing this a win win for anyone fortunate to be in a postion to acquire such a beautiful parcel of land.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
