There is an advert on a local radio station which starts with the word \u201cSILENCE\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This seems to be the attitude of the many people facing foreclosure today. <\/span>Denial and fear are the first emotions, followed with an inability to act. <\/span>This results in \u201cSILENCE\u201d, which is a very human emotion, but unfortunately exacerbates the problem.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Fortunately there is help available. <\/span>Speak to your bank, try to negotiate with them. <\/span>If you can prove genuine hardship, (Loss of job, divorce, health problems etc) negotiate a Short Sale or a loan modification with the bank. Try at all costs to resolve the problem instead of ignoring it and getting into more difficulties. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the unemployment rate reaching an all time high more and more people will be at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
