{"id":17025,"date":"2009-03-13T10:52:27","date_gmt":"2009-03-13T10:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/therealestatemango.com\/2009\/03\/13\/musings-in-aventura\/"},"modified":"2019-04-23T20:56:33","modified_gmt":"2019-04-23T20:56:33","slug":"musings-in-aventura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ewmrealestate.com\/blog\/musings-in-aventura\/","title":{"rendered":"Musings in Aventura"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To paraphrase that old Chinese curse &#8220;we are living in interesting times&#8221;.\u00a0 It&#8217;s easy to let the news paralyze us but if we remember when FDR said &#8220;we have nothing to fear, except fear itself, we may be able to start making plans, start to change our outlook and look around the new world that we are now living in.<\/p>\n<p>The White House Economic Advisor, <a title=\"White House Economic Advisor\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2009\/03\/13\/AR2009031301469.html?hpid=topnews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Larry Summers<\/a>, said today, that he thinks we may be seeing the light\u00a0, again.\u00a0 The only way to recovery, however, is to start taking advantage of the really great buys all around us.<\/p>\n<p>When we have real value available, we should take advantage of it.\u00a0 When people begin to buy homes again, the\u00a0 economy will improve, as well as all the associated businesses, like construction, furniture, interior design, landscaping.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I heard the story of a Landscaper in Coral Gables who started a commercial organic vegetable garden to supplement his income.\u00a0 Great idea!\u00a0 Now, when landscaping is needed again, he will have two businesses to add to his income.\u00a0 New and wonderful ideas come to people in times like these.<\/p>\n<p>Life\u00a0must go on.\u00a0 Progress should be made.
