<\/span>It used to be that when you dropped your cell phone in the pool or another water filled area, such as a toilet, that was the end of your cellular device, hundreds of dollars down the toilet.( Excuse the pun.) <\/span>Not anymore! <\/span>I have a simple solution <\/a>that is ever so easy. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Gingerly pat the phone dry with a lint free cloth.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Go to your kitchen pantry and take out a package of uncooked rice <\/span>(instant rice or short grain rice, use whatever uncooked rice you have in your house).<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Then put about a eighth of an inch of rice in the bottom of\u00a0a medium container.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Place your phone into the rice.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Then cover it with rice until your phone is fully surrounded with rice.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Let\u00a0the uncooked rice-phone combination\u00a0sit overnight.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. A fully functioning cell phone awaits you in the morning!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:\u00a0 Please do not eat the rice.\u00a0 Please do not cook the rice. Please do not eat the cell phone.<\/span><\/p>\n
