\"Luxury<\/p>\n

In case you haven’t heard, mortgage rates are still at near-historic lows. I just did a quick Google search and the highest rate that I found for a 30 year fixed interest loan was 3.625%, with some shorter-term loans coming in at under 3%. All that I can say is wow! Although I was not participating in the real estate market as either a home buyer or a realtor when rates soared to 18%, I have dealt with much higher interest rates than 3%, so I know that now is a good time to refinance or, better yet, to buy a new house!<\/p>\n

According to Forbes.com, “Concerns about market volatility and apparent weakness in the U.S. economy earlier this year, combined with Britain\u2019s vote in June to exit the European Union have made it much less likely the Fed will raise rates further in the near-term.” Interest rates, then, are low and should stay that way for a little while. Combine that with the large amount of inventory currently on the Miami market, as well as the price corrections that we have seen this year, and it sure does look like now is the time to buy here in South Florida.<\/p><\/div>\n
