The University of Miami Herbert Wellness Center Celebrates 20 Years!

After a fun and indulgent Thanksgiving weekend, I am thankful for the University of Miami Wellness Center. The Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center on the Coral Gables campus opened in 1996 and is now celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Herbert Wellness Center is a premier fitness and recreation facility. Designed to be one of the finest centers in the nation for recreational sports, fitness, and wellness education programs, the Herbert Wellness Center affirms the University of Miami’s commitment to a well-rounded educational environment.
Membership to the Herbert Wellness Center is open to University students, faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, Board of Trustees, Citizens Board members, and their spouses and dependents. Although membership to the Herbert Wellness Center is not open to the general public, there are a variety of programs and services that are available to everyone. Additionally, any Herbert Wellness Center member may purchase daily guest passes to grant non-members access to the facility. A University of Miami Wellness Center is also located on the Medical Campus in the Clinical Research Building.
