If you go east on Coral Reef Drive (SW 152nd Street) to Biscayne Bay you’ll arrive at a small island that is aptly called Paradise Point. This is a gated community of townhouses and free standing homes that has it’s own marina and a nature walk through a mangrove forest. It also has a private beach, a large clubhouse, a beautiful pool and 2 tennis courts. This area of Biscayne Bay is one of the premier kayaking locations in Miami, with incredible views of the bay, the flora and fauna typical of South Florida.
The beauty of the area was just right for the wedding of my son Joseph and his fiance Amy. On February 10, 2007, on a perfect Sunday afternoon they were united as husband and wife, both barefoot on our sandy beach. It was a fitting moment in Paradise Point!
