“EDGE Artistic Director Jim Tommaney searched for five years to find an actress capable of bringing to vibrant life Flora Goforth, the central character in this remarkable play. Maria Somoza brings a mature beauty and a sizzling power to this complex role of an over-achiever who rose from ‘trailer trash’ to wealth, power and influence and now must confront her own mortality.”
