Last week Isabelle discussed trends in July’s home sales. Today I would like to expand on the subject to look at encouraging trends in home sales for the first 6 months of 2011. 33 properties priced at $1 million and over were sold over the first 6 months of 2011, or 27.5% of the total inventory of 120 homes.
These figures are especially exciting as they represent a 43% over 2010. Coconut Grove saw only 23 $1 million plus homes sold in the same period last year.
We also see growth with our top priced homes. This year’s highest priced property sold for $13.4 million, well above last year’s top priced home at $6.75 million.
