Here we have another great feature added to the lifestyle of Coral Gables.
Beginning Wednesday February 16th and continuing every Wednesday through the end of April, Coral Gables residents and visitors can enjoy free jazz concerts during the noon lunch hour in the plaza courtyard in front of the newly dedicated Coral Gables Museum.
What a terrific way to spend your lunch hour, out in the fresh air, under the shade of the Canary Island Date Palms and the renovated 1920’s Coral Gables fire station which is now incorporated into the new museum.
The first week we saw and heard the wonders of Jesse Jones, Jr., jazz saxophonist and entertainer who combined the sounds of legendary Cannonball Adderley, Hank Crawford and Paul Desmond.
Next week, Wednesday February 23rd, come and hear the wonderful sound of “Mad Romance“, a vocal group who brings forth the sounds of Classic Jazz, Mambo, Ballads, Cha-Cha-Cha, Be-Bop, to name a few.
This undoubtedly will be a huge hit and will add to the wonderful charm and character we’ve all come to know as the Coral Gables lifestyle. Be sure to join in every Wednesday for the next two months and enjoy a new and different jazz performance each and every week.
