‘LOVE’ MOVIES
Romantic Comedies are the theme of the “Romance In A Can” Film Festival, February 10th-25th, which will feature mostly European films. Screenings will be held at the Colony Theater (1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach), the Miami Beach Cinematheque (512 Espanola Way), or the Mutiny Hotel (2951 South Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove). MOVIES for MOVIE ‘LOVERS’Flawless poster
The 25th annual Miami International Film Festival will be held this year from February 28th to March 9th. There will be 10 world premieres, and several American debuts, including “Flawless” directed by Michael Radford (“Il Postino”). “Flawless” is a jewel heist starring Michael Caine and Demi Moore (according to the Miami Herald, Ms Moore is expected to attend the red-carpet screening at the Gusman’s Olympia Theater on March 2nd. Other celebrities in town for the festival include: the Writer/Director/Producer/brothers team of Joel Coen and Ethan Coen (whose combined creative genius has produced masterpieces like “Barton Fink” and “No Country For Old Men”), and (“the cleaner”) Harvey Keitel. Tickets go on sale to the public on February 15th.

PUPPY LOVE
“Barkapalooza” , the 3rd annual pet extravaganza, will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, and from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Offering pet adoptions, Frisbee demonstrations, a world-famous pet psychic, and interactive K-9 sports for you, your family, and your canine companions. The extravaganza will also feature pet-related exhibitors, vendors, animal organizations, and agencies, along with the usual fair food and beverages.
