One of the most enjoyable community events in the Gables will begin its 21st season this month. On each and every Saturday beginning January 21st through March 31st, the Coral Gables Farmer’s Market is held on Biltmore Way at LeJeune Road, in the beautiful little park in front of City Hall.
Locally grown fruits and vegetables are available along with baked goods and gourmet specialty pre
pared foods. How much fresher can you get it…from the farm to your table!
There are also exotic plants from local nurseries, gardening workshops, food demonstrations given by talented chefs from the many excellent restaurants in town, Tai Chi classes and activities for children.
It is a great place to “meet and greet” friends and neighbors. Take a stroll down to the Coral Gables Farmer’s Market. I always take my Dachshunds. They love the walk too and for some reason they always know where to find the lady who makes the home-made dog biscuits!
