City of Aventura – Founders Day Weekend
Celebrate Aventura with the entire family at the 17th Annual Founders Day Weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 9 – 11, 2012.
- Friday, November 9th at 9PM: The Broadway Tenors perform at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Tickets are available at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, located at 3385 NE 188th St or at www.aventuracenter.org or by calling (877) 311-7469.
- Saturday, November 10th at 8PM: Aventura Comedy Series: Bobby Collins performs at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Tickets are available at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, located at 3385 NE 188th St or at www.aventuracenter.org or by calling (877) 311-7469.
- Sunday, November 11th from Noon – 5PM: Aventura “Salutes Our Veterans and Troops” at Founders Park. Enjoy the 10th Annual Aventura STAR Talent Competition, sample great cuisine from the food trucks and participate in activities such as face painting, U.S. Army Obstacle Course, fun projects, Toddler Town play area and watch Sunday afternoon football. Founders Park is located at 3105 NE 190th St. Parking for Founders Day will be available at the Harbour Centre and the Aventura Express will take you to and from Founders Park from 11:30AM – 5:30PM.
