Christie’s International Real Estate Returns to Sponsor Art Wynwood, Sister Fair of Art Miami
Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s leading luxury real estate network, is returning for the third consecutive year to sponsor Art Wynwood, sister fair to Art Miami, one of the most respected international contemporary and modern art fairs. As the “Official Luxury Real Estate Partner” of the highly-anticipated event, Christie’s International Real Estate — in tandem with 14 of its global affiliates — will showcase the impressive reach of its network by presenting more than 14,000 exquisite properties through a hands-on, interactive display.
“Christie’s International Real Estate is proud to yet again be such an integral part of this widely-recognized, cutting-edge event,” said Rick Moeser, Senior Vice President of Christie’s International Real Estate. “Since we first established this sponsorship three years ago, the subsequent momentum and excitement has been all-encompassing, furthering our preexisting ties between fine art and high-end real estate.”
Taking place Feb. 12-16 in Midtown Miami, and within the same pavilion as Art Miami, the 2015 edition of Art Wynwood will feature 70 international galleries presenting emerging, cutting edge, contemporary and modern works and will have its own distinct identity and design. A unique attribute of this year’s event is the highlight of street art, murals, pop surrealism and other genres from the contemporary underground movement.
Since 2013, Christie’s International Real Estate has enjoyed a coveted position as a marquee sponsor of Art Wynwood, as well as its immensely successful sister fair, Art Miami, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in December with a record-breaking attendance of more than 82,000 attendees.
Throughout the duration of Art Wynwood, Christie’s International Real Estate will host a booth at the entrance of the fair, exhibiting luxury residential real estate offerings from around the globe.
Art Wynwood 2015 will coincide with the 27th edition of the prominent Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, which transforms Collins Avenue into a multimillion-dollar presentation of yachts and super-yachts. The Boat Show is known to attract qualified buyers from all over the U.S. and around the globe, including France, Brazil, China, Colombia, Russia, Argentina, Mexico, Italy and Sweden. The 2014 edition of Art Wynwood attracted more than 32,500 visitors during its five-day run, with 7,100 collectors and art enthusiasts attending the Opening Night VIP Private Preview.
