While I am sitting at my Open House this afternoon, it dawned on me that this would be the perfect time to write a blog about this lovely home. After all, what better time to write than while I am sitting in the comfortable family room with a volume ceiling and fan, looking out the window at the waterfall in the heated pool and spa. Solitude. I can imagine that the Sellers have spent a lot of time relaxing there or having a barbecue on the screened enclosed patio, no pesky mosquitos to bother them! I’m sure their dog has also had a good time running around in the fenced yard.
As I look around to the eat in kitchen the accent lighting, above and below the cabinets, casts a soft glow on the beige tile backsplash and countertops. It is the perfect compliment to the 18″ beige tile floors with insets that run throughout the home.
What’s that, a car door slamming? I walk into the formal living and dining room to peer out of the window, at the same time noticing how the sunlight filters into this area from the arched window. An elegant, but not too formal room, that makes me feel welcome.
A nice couple comes to the door and I greet them and take them on a tour of the home. They tell me they are very impressed with this home. It has everything they are looking for, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a pool in a neighborhood that’s close to Silver Ridge Elementary and Bamford Sports Complex where their son plays baseball and theirdaughter plays soccer. The absolutely love the fact that this home has a brand new barrel tile roof, hurricane shutters and an alarm system. Most of all they love the new Master Bath. The old world style cabinetry combined with modern, up to date coordinate perfectly. She loves the roman tub, he loves the large shower. The both like the fact that they can get ready for work at the same time because there is plenty of room in the bathroom for two, plus dual sinks.
I didn’t even have to mention that the split bedroom plan would work great for them; they already noticed that their daughter could have one large bedroom at one end of the hallway and their son could have the other one at the other end of the hallway, and in the middle would be the 2nd bath and guest room. This makes them happy and I know that they’ll keep this home on the top of their list. As they leave the neighbors wave to them, as if to say “Welcome Neighbor”, that’s the way it is here in Forest Ridge.
It’s 5 p.m. and my work here is done, it’s just too bad that I was too busy showing the home and didn’t have time to write a blog about it. Maybe tomorrow, if it’s not already Sold. At $499,900 this home is too good to last.
